Although prices for detached housing is at an all time high and out of reach for the vast majority of First time buyers, there are some excellent buys for those looking to get into the market.  Surprisingly, activity has slowed on level entry condos and some townhouses, therefore the prices have stabilizied. Now interest rates are starting to rise somewhat, but you can still get a 5 year closed mortgage for under 4%, which is more than reasonable!
